Be s.t.i.l.l. and }know{ .....

Christ is always here with us. Even when it seems like there is a distance between you and Him. We must learn seek Him First above all.. We must seek Him out in ALL we do.
Sometimes I get all caught up in what's going on around me and forget to be still.

He is so good to me, so sweet and kind...how is it that I so easily forget to be still? To listen. And know that He is God. People will always disappoint you, but God NEVER will!

In His Word God commands us to be still... (Ps. 46:10)It's an amazing thing when you actually stop and "be still". When you acknowledge Him. When you read a beautiful Psalm. When you stop to look at what He's actually doing in the lives and situations around you.
He is so Mighty and Powerful, but He is also that Soft and Gentle voice that whispers His Truths and His Promises right to your heart.... if only we would block out the world and turn from it, whole-heartily, to see HIM in all things."Come, behold the works of the Lord..." Ps 46:8 To quiet our soul and come, humbled before Him.
"O taste and see that the Lord is good..." Ps. 34:8

"When Peace like a river attendeth my way...... it is well! It is well with my soul!"

I just signed my life away.

It's a done deal. February 2nd is going to come all too fast.

For the first time in my entire life I'm going to board a plane. I'm going to fly. In the sky. In an airplane. And Lord willing... make it to Florida ALIVE.
I'm going to have to find comfort in 2 friends. I won't have my family to look to. It still hasn't completely sunk in yet. I'm still in shock that I am actually doing this. Since I was about 8 yrs old I was afraid of ever going on an airplane.

I heard a pastor one time joking about how he was afraid to fly.. he said, "God says, "Lo I am with you always. You never hear Him say HIGH I am with you. That's why I never fly."

So my dear readers.... this may be my last entry as a living soul. Thank you ever so much for reading, following, and commenting on my blog!  I love all my fans! =)

So if you want to know...

...what two girls look like when they're moving down a floor.... here it is.

It was sUUper heavy. Hard to maneuver. Awkward to handle. And just plain hard! =(  I may or may not have left Kayla to hold up the dead weight while I ran for the camera.

I cannot tell you...

...how much I love my brothers!
I love that each one of them like to do "boy things". I love seeing my 5 brothers splitting wood together. I love that they're such gentlemen. I love how patient my older brothers are with our younger brothers. I love the bond that my brothers have with each other..

And how much I love my sisters!
I love that my sisters and I sing together. I love how my sisters are so girly! I love the Christ-like example that they are. I love that my sisters are so creative! I love seeing the 2 married sisters being moms, taking care of their of their homes....and babies.. =)  {sigh}

I. Love. My. Siblings.

What is a 'Man of God' ?

A man of God-- how much that term signifies! He is a man who comes from God, is chosen and sent by Him. He is a man who walks with God, lives in His fellowship and carries the mark of His presence. He is a man who lives for God and His will, whose whole being is ruled by the glory of God, who involuntarily and unceasingly leads men to think of God. A man of God is one in whose heart and life God has taken the right place as the All in all, and who has only one desire-that God should have that place of preeminence throughout the world.
Such men of God are what the world needs.

God is seeking them so that He may fill them with Himself and send them into the world to help others to know Him. Moses was so distinctly such a man, that men naturally spoke of him with that term,--Moses, the man of God. Every believer ought to aim at being such a living witness and proof that God can live in men on earth.
This thought--of being a person so closely linked to God that others instinctively refer to him as a man of God--leads us further. It suggests the idea of the impression we make upon men and the power we can have by carrying the Holy presence of God with us.
