So if you want to know...

...what two girls look like when they're moving down a floor.... here it is.

It was sUUper heavy. Hard to maneuver. Awkward to handle. And just plain hard! =(  I may or may not have left Kayla to hold up the dead weight while I ran for the camera.

I cannot tell you...

...how much I love my brothers!
I love that each one of them like to do "boy things". I love seeing my 5 brothers splitting wood together. I love that they're such gentlemen. I love how patient my older brothers are with our younger brothers. I love the bond that my brothers have with each other..

{working on the chainsaw in the back of Dad's truck}

And how much I love my sisters!
I love that my sisters and I sing together. I love how my sisters are so girly! I love the Christ-like example that they are. I love that my sisters are so creative! I love seeing the 2 married sisters being moms, taking care of their of their homes....and babies.. =)  {sigh}

I. Love. My. Siblings.

What is a 'Man of God' ?

A man of God-- how much that term signifies! He is a man who comes from God, is chosen and sent by Him. He is a man who walks with God, lives in His fellowship and carries the mark of His presence. He is a man who lives for God and His will, whose whole being is ruled by the glory of God, who involuntarily and unceasingly leads men to think of God. A man of God is one in whose heart and life God has taken the right place as the All in all, and who has only one desire-that God should have that place of preeminence throughout the world.
Such men of God are what the world needs.

God is seeking them so that He may fill them with Himself and send them into the world to help others to know Him. Moses was so distinctly such a man, that men naturally spoke of him with that term,--Moses, the man of God. Every believer ought to aim at being such a living witness and proof that God can live in men on earth.
This thought--of being a person so closely linked to God that others instinctively refer to him as a man of God--leads us further. It suggests the idea of the impression we make upon men and the power we can have by carrying the Holy presence of God with us.

New Year's Resolution.. {TheSarcasticEdition}

 I wonder how many people actually follow through with it? Probably an extremely mini, super tiny, small fraction. =)  (for those of you who actually do have a New Year's Resolution.... I'm sorry if I just hurt your feelings! Just hang on a second... it gets better ;)

"run 78 miles a day",
"eat salads for 45 days straight",
"travel around the world in 10 days... on my bike... blindfolded.",
 "climb Mt Everest in a half an hour",
"learn to play guitar, violin, cello, banjo, piano, harp, harmonica, jaw harp, mandolin and kazoo in a week.... tops!"
.............I mean, come on! Seriously? Yes, it is good to set goals for yourself... I'm all for it! But when I read an article about some of these outrageous and ridiculous resolutions, I was pretty surprised, to say the least!
Just be thankful for another year of life. Enjoy each minute as it comes and stop beating yourself up for not drinking 456,852 glasses of water a day and for not putting your full 8 hrs of exercise in! Oh yeah, and remember....... don't waste $4500 on a treadmill that you KNOW you're only going to use 3 times before you put it on craigslist and eBay!

So here's my resolution.. it's not a new year's resolution, but for lack of a better word, I'm going to use resolution.... ;)

                              I'm going to (or at least try to)....

... probably do a little more of this. Can you believe that I, Gianna, am saying this?!
Don't you just love my PINK John Deere cup?
                                                ...try super hard to shoot more often! And I'm really hoping (and praying!) to get my hunting license this year!

                                                                                        Well, ya know... one can only hope! =]

And so there you have it folks. My rendition of a New Year's Resolution. As you can see, I'm not very fond of them.  But it you are, don't let me stop you! Go right on ahead with your goals! I just hope you follow through with 'em..... ;)
